ORTHODONTICSAn orthodontist is a dentist who specializes in diagnosing and treating malocclusions, which are mis-alignments of the teeth, jaws, or both. Following dental school, an orthodontist completes several years of full-time additional training under the direct supervision of experienced orthodontists.
